About the Author
Having always been an animal lover, and after working any different jobs, Jo-Anne Barclay finally followed her heart and obtained a diploma as a veterinary assistant.  She became the caregiver to a rabbit quite by accident, and fell in love with her. Soon rabbits being surrendered or needing special care found their way to her and in 2006, she started Running Rabbit Farm Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary. Now retired after over 20 years working in veterinary medicine, she currently resides in Guelph, sharing her home with her feline friend Forest and a few spoiled rabbits, running the rescue, crafting and working on the story of how she became The Bunny Lady.  Bearly A Hare is her first published book.
 
About the Illustrator
Courtney Truong is an illustrator and graphic designer who brings stories to life through expressive, imaginative artwork. With a background in both illustration and design, she combines strong visual storytelling with a passion for character and world-building. This book is one of several she’s had the joy of illustrating. When she’s not drawing, Courtney explores new artistic styles and finds inspiration in everyday moments.
